UPDATE: As of 17th August we have implemented ‘Step 4’ of the England Hockey ‘Return to Hockey’ road map. This allows for larger group sizes and competitive hockey.
In order to play hockey at Old Schools Lane (OSL) players must complete the England Hockey Participant Agreement (opens in new tab). By doing so, you agree to follow the England Hockey Terms and Conditions and Code of Ethics and Behaviour.
To help us comply with the Step 4 guidelines we are using teamo’s PlaySafe tool. Every time you visit OSL to train, play, coach, officiate OR spectate you MUST check-in on arrival.
You can do this by either scanning the QR Code on one of the posters at the pitch with your smartphone, using the camera or a QR code scanner app or visiting this URL (opens in new tab).
Team captains are responsible for organising managing sessions as per the schedule below: (maximum places are now 30)
There is a small charge of £3 per person, payable via teamo.

Pitch rules and procedures
Arrival: Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your confirmed session booking. If the car park is busy, please be sensible and responsible to maintain social distancing. Make your way to the pitch and check-in via the teamo QR poster.
Equipment: Only use your own stick. Club balls will be used for all sessions. Avoid touching other equipment. If a ball is not yours, please only touch with stick or feet.
Social distancing: Maintain social distancing rules. Keep 2 metres apart at all times.
Departure: Please leave the site as promptly as possible at the end of a session to ensure others can park and begin their session promptly and safely.
