Time to put those home skills and all that fitness onto the pitch. Club hockey is back! Great news for everyone at Epsom HC!

We are excited that club hockey training is resuming this week. You will have seen notifications about your sessions come through in teamo, please keep your availability up to date via the app.

Following an update from DCMS England Hockey published their final Return to Play guidelines at the end of last week. As expected a note to confirm we will be following England Hockey’s ‘Step 4 Return to Play Guidelines’, which we are all familiar with from the end of last year.

Please do read through the infographic on the right as a reminder of the key points to remember.

One important change to these Step 4 guidelines to make you aware of is that ‘NO spectators are permitted’ until at least 12 April at the earliest.

The only exception is where there is a need for one parent/guardian/carer to stay for safeguarding purposes, which primarily applies to our Mixed U8s group.

England Hockey’s full guidance document is available here.

Please remember that you must ‘check-in’ via teamo when attending all club training sessions or matches. You can do this before you travel using the teamo app or by scanning the on-site QR code as soon as you arrive at the pitch.

Our appointed Covid Officer is Emma Dale.
If you show symptoms of COVID-19 DO NOT attend training or a game. Firstly phone NHS Track and Trace and let our Covid Officer know immediately (welfare@epsomhc.co.uk).
