Friday 25 June 2010 Arrival & pitching of tents

Registration to pick up your welcome pack

Bar open for Purple Nasties till late

9pm – Drinking and songs in/outside the clubhouse to socialise with all the teams

Pig Roast (to be confirmed, (if not other alternative)
Saturday 26 June 2010 Registration for the late comers

All teams play pool games 25 minutes one way

Higher teams in each pool from Saturday go into the Cup, Lower teams go into the Plate.

Evening Disco at the clubhouse – theme – World Cup Countries

Prize for the best team – Late Bar
Sunday 27 June 2010 Pool Games for both Cup and Plate

Winners and runners up go into semi-finals of each competition.

Cup and Plate Finals followed by presentations

Teams are welcome to stay over for another night of drinking if you can’t face the drive home!

 

Playing Rules

 

  • The normal rules of hockey apply. Teams will consist of 11 players at any one time, 5 men and 5 women plus a Goalkeeper, who MUST be used. Kicking backs are not allowed.

  • Central timing will apply. Points will be awarded as per normal.

  • UMPIRES: each team is to leave a capable umpire on each pitch on which they have just played their game

Hot breakfast will be served from 8am and a selection of sandwiches and a BBQ will be available throughout the day

Purple Nasties and a fine selection of beers available
